What a hidden gem. How does everyone on East Side, Boyle Heights, Highland Park,Los Feliz, oigan, that's me, too, know K tan familiar and tasty Wendy's Tortas can be? I just dropped by today, on the off chance they might have a decent breakfast burrito. !K hermoso! Place was jumping with nearby construction, CHP, CSs (not Alex,) & DWP @ 10:30 AM. Most of the Village People were present.
The darling cajera who took my tortilla de harina, scrambled egg, chorizo & frijoles order was full of smiles. I felt welcome. Inside to-go bag is not only burrito, but tostaditas caseras--house made chips. @ home, I sliced burrito into 3 pieces. Wrapped 2 dainty pieces back in foil. Returned those to fridge. Only plated one, haha. Me & the ketogenic lifestyle I embrace. Not today, socios. Can I get an Amen for the most humble of AM snacks @11AM? Yes. Early morn for this salsera. Drum roll. Hail, iconic, tan pan-latino of plates, the bag the paper the chips the burrito. Gone in 60 seconds. It's helpful to note that Wendy's LH is 5 minutes from my cluster of specialists @ Keck-USC. Mari B.October 1, 2022.The tortas planchadas were pretty tasty! I enjoyed every bite. I got the asada and I went around 4:15 the girl said they will be closing the kitchen at 4:20pm (what a time). She said "but will I will make an exception for us to order something else other than a torta If that's what you're looking for." We both ordered asada tortas and they were so crunchy and soft at the same time. I can't wait to go back. The restaurant is huge and has open seating, it looks family owned, which is pretty neat.

Haven't felt like cooking so went to Wendy's for lunch. First off met Melissa. Amazingly kind sweet and beautiful. Is it me or is are the most beautiful women in east los? I need a Chula... Maybe a cholo Chula lol Anyways. The torta. Delicious and perfectly toasted. I got fries I love the skinny ones. While I waited I met the owner. The nicest guy in the world. He told me he named the restaurant after his granddaughter. That Melissa is one too. His kids must be moviestar gorgeous looking at the young beauty?! He said his wife was the best cook ever. How cool! Family business! I couldn't figure it out but she(Melissa) looks famous???? I asked Melissa anyone say u look ... Right then she said Selina ( the singer that past away). I was like OMG she looks like a petite version of her. Same eyes exactly. Guys sorry but come in for the food only because this classy woman is married and I see why! Nice Lady from the kitchen brought my food out.
